Welcome to The Riverview School, one of the five largest District 75 schools, with more than 900 students and 12 sites in Queens. As a parent/guardian of a student(s) currently enrolled at The Riverview School, you are automatically a member of the PTA . Membership is also open to all teachers, school-related professionals, and staff currently employed at The Riverview School.

The beginning of the school year is extra challenging for both students AND parents. The best thing to do is to stay calm and do the following.
- Call OPT at 718-392-8855 and receive an incident number. Have your child's student ID number ready.
- Then contact your UNIT COORDINATOR and they too will file an incident to OPT against the bus company.
- The more incident reports you file against the bus company, the faster they will correct the problem.

- Listen to your local radio station starting at 6AM for announcements
- Contact your school for closing and opening delay notifications
- Call 311 for information about a school during an emergency
